David Allen Rowe

David A. Rowe, 86, beloved husband of Lucille Young Rowe, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on September 27, 1937, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Andrew Melvin Rowe and the late Mildred Bullock Rowe. Mr. Rowe retired from the Harborwalk Marina after 55 years of service. He had a great love for spending time outdoors, which included fishing and working in his yard. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; one son, Ken Rowe of Bonneau; two brothers, Ricky Rowe (Roberta) of Georgetown and Dennis Rowe (Lorraine) of Murrells Inlet; sisters-in-law, Virginia Rowe of Chattanooga, TN and Ann Rowe of Smyrna, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry A. Rowe, Dr. William Rowe, Harold Rowe and Donnie Rowe; and two sisters, Dorothy Wrightson and Katherine Rowe. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, June 17, 2024 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Screven Church Baptist Church, 2221 South Island Rd.
