Clarence Robert Boyette, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 15,2025, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 26, 1938, in Wilson, NC, he was a son of the late James Marvin Boyette and the late Arbelia Boyette. Mr. Boyette spent his life as a farmer. He enjoyed being outside and working the land. Mr. Boyette loved spending time with his family and reminiscing about life as a farmer. Mr. Boyette loved living in Georgetown and loved his neighbors. He always said they are the nicest people and was grateful for all the friends he and Suzanne made in their beautiful neighborhood. He loved walking his dog, Jessie, every morning along the Georgetown waterfront and chatting with store owners. He always joked that Jessie was the star of the show and got all the treats. Mr. Boyette was a member of Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church and always enjoyed serving as an usher.
Mr. Boyette is predeceased by his daughter Susan Matilda Boyette.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Davis Boyette; one daughter Bridget Ann Pridgen and her husband Sam of Wilson, NC; one sister, Juanita Boyette Sims, and her daughter, Cindy Bucy (Jamie) of Myrtle Beach, along with their son, Mac Bucy; a nephew. Rain Birdsall; a sister-in-law, Nancy Boyette along with her children, Jimmy Boyette (Jennifer), and Amy Boyette Brown (Tom) of Clayton, NC.
A celebration of life service will be held this spring at Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church.
