Carolyn Lynette Platt-Royal

Carolyn Lynette Platt-Royal, 72, wife of Jerry A. Royal, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital from complications post-surgery.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hubert C. Platt; her mother, Bee Flegel Platt. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Royal; her son, Jeremy Hickman; two brothers, Hubie Platt (Cindy) and Allen Platt (Anna); and twin granddaughters, Ruby and Hazel Hickman.

Lynette will always be remembered for her kind heart and loving Southern hospitality. Her door was always open to family and friends, and she was always there to greet you with a big smile, open arms, and a warm meal. 

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Oak Ridge Church 920 Earle Rd. Andrews, SC 29510.
