Blaine Lee “Bo” Musgrove, Jr., 47, husband of Pauline Joyce Walker Musgrove, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his home.
Born on December 19, 1970, in Georgetown, he was the son of Dorothy Loretta Jones Musgrove and the late Blaine Lee Musgrove, Sr. Bo was a volunteer firefighter with the Georgetown City Fire Department and was a Corporal with the South Carolina State Guard. Bo was an easy going good ol’ country boy that was always willing to lend a helping hand and was someone who never met a stranger. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Sandy Pines Hunting Club. Bo lived life to the fullest and enjoyed car racing, talking with his mother and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; mother of Georgetown; step children, Jeffrey Slaybaugh (Elizabeth) of Georgetown and Penny Melton of Wilmington; two step grandchildren, Jackson Slaybaugh and Kayla Melton; three sisters, Gail Miller (Allen) of Georgetown, Tammy Musgrove-Shaw (Dusty) of Myrtle Beach, and Amy Prosser of Georgetown; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special great nephew, JAM.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Allen Evans Jr. “Slim”.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the Pennyroyal Gardens Mausoleum. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
