Billie Sue Trivette Svedberg

Billie Sue Trivette Svedberg, 83, widow of Rev. William Svedberg, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on July 23, 1937, in Todd, NC, she was a daughter of the late Ruth Greer Trivette. Mrs. Svedberg was a member of United Christian Outreach and for nearly 20 years, she and her husband ministered in the Kingstree and Georgetown areas through the Nazarene Church. During her time at Prince George Health Care, Mrs. Svedberg was the Resident Council President and enjoyed greeting new residents as well giving them encouragement and uplifting them. Mrs. Svedberg enjoyed taking care of her family, but her greatest love was serving her Lord. Survivors include four children, Edward "Eddie" Svedberg (Tangie) of Andrews, Ruth Evans of Georgetown, Erik Svedberg of Jacksonville, FL and Martha Helton (Ronnie) of Andrews; six grandchildren, Amber Jordan (Jamie) of Summerville, Ashley Luhrs (Wil) of Florence, Britni Svedberg of Charlotte, Aaron Martin of Summerville, Charles Wood of Georgetown and Erika Svedberg of Andrews; three great grandchildren, Noah Jordan, Aiden Jordan and Sara Grace Luhrs; one sister, Edna Greer of Jefferson, NC; two “special grandchildren”, Stephanie Cagle and Kasey Cagle both of Georgetown; and a special friend, Georgette Hogue. She was preceded in death by one son, Tony Harold; two brothers, Bryan Greer and Melville Greer; two sisters, Vivian Hardin and Jacquelin Mullis. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 31, 2020 at United Christian Outreach. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
