Beverly "Beth" McCants Cribb, 65, devoted wife of Charles Allen Cribb, passed away Friday, April 25th, 2025, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Born on September 4, 1959 in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late John Taylor "JT" McCants, and the late Lessie Mae Thomas McCants. Beth, or "BeBe" as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was the embodiment of unconditional love. Whether it was selfless acts of service for those fortunate enough to call her friend or her fierce dedication to her family. She was the epitome of a compassionate heart.
Beth turned her decades long battle with breast cancer into a testament of unwavering faith in God and inspirational courage. A beacon of hope for others fighting similar battles, she never missed an opportunity to instill hope in everyone she encountered. Even in the face of her challenges, she retained an infectious smile that would brighten the darkest of days.
Though small in stature, Beth leaves behind a tremendous legacy. Leading by example, she challenged her daughters to be women of action and fiercely independent. Although she taught the value of self-reliance, she never let them forget the importance of a servant's humble heart.
In addition to her loving husband, Beth leaves behind two daughters, Joni (Shannon) Grant and Dr. Carmen (Mark) Roberts, cherished grandbabies, Bevan Grant, Beckett Grant, and Ethan Roberts. She also leaves behind a brother Deryl (Becky) McCants and two special nephews, John Deryl (Lauren) McCants, Brandon (Lauren) McCants, and their children, Linley, Elle, and Emma. She also leaves behind her special fur-babies, Ollie and Roxy. She was predeceased by her parents and first grandson, Evan Taylor Grant.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 4:00 PM, April 28, 2025, at The Sanctuary at Maryville. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM prior to the service.
