Barbara Sanderson

Barbara Loraine Altemos Sanderson, 90, passed away Monday, December 28, 2021, at her home. Born on February 28, 1931, in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Phillip Altemos and the late Daisy Mae Henry Altemos. Ms. Sanderson enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Cunningham of Andrews, Kathy Martin (Tony Matthews) of Georgetown and Karen Rogers of Andrews; ten grandchildren, Richard Cunningham of OR, Christa Cole (Jimmy Rivera) of FL, Stephen Williams of Pawleys Island, Mathew Williams of FL, Jack Martin of Georgetown, Amanda Martin of Georgetown, Erin Seagraves (Travis) of Georgetown, Stanton Rogers (Teresa) of Andrews, Heather Rogers (Brandon Leasure) of Georgetown and Jessica Wilder of Andrews; a special great-grandson, Jacob Woodard of Andrews 24 other great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, Jayden Vereen of Andrews; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Sanderson; one granddaughter, Erica Wilder Avant; a great-grandson, Michael Avant; and two sisters, Oretha Harrison and Mary Doyle. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
