Barbara Chapman Mauldin

1943 — March 8, 2019

Barbara Ann Chapman Mauldin, 75, widow of Harold David Mauldin, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Born on December 7, 1943, in England, she was a daughter of the late George Chapman and the late Beatrice “Pat” Lloyd Chapman. Mrs. Mauldin was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and the Lydia Sunday school class. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and was an avid reader, who loved a good mystery novel. As a loving caregiver for many years, Mrs. Mauldin had a great love for taking care of others, especially her family.

Survivors include four children, Danny Owens (Chris), Eve Owens, Stacey Mauldin and Rachel Mauldin all of Georgetown; 10 grandchildren, KyLee Ann Mauldin, Jayden Goddard, Vanessa Moon, Angelo Moon, Dalton Lambert, Kymber Leann Howell, Jessica Thompkins, Jennifer Driggers, Ray Owens and Will Owens; 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Debbie Ryan (Kevin) of GA; and a brother, Alan Chapman of TX.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angel Owens.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the church parlor.
