Ashley Dawn Casselman

Ashley Dawn Casselman, 34, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Medical University of South Carolina. Born on July 1, 1988, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of Donald Casselman and Sharon Bullock Casselman. Ashley attended Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed design work, spending time on the water, and most of all spending time with her children. Survivors include her mother and father of Georgetown; maternal grandmother, Bobbie Bullock of Georgetown; four children, Shanlynn Grace Hewitt, Emily Jayden Hewitt, Bentley William Hewitt and Ashton D. "AJ" McElveen; two sisters, Melissa Casselman of Georgetown and Jodi Jarquin (Jamie Ramone) of Georgetown; three uncles, Shannon Bullock of Georgetown, David Casselman (Tammy) of Andrews and Randy Casselman (Tonya) of Andrews; seven nephews; five nieces; four aunts, Linda Collins of Georgetown, Donna Gamble of Georgetown, Patricia Johnson (Jeff) of Georgetown and Marie Butler of Georgetown; the father of AJ, Ashton McElveen, and his parents, Wendy Jordan and Terrell McElveen both of Georgetown; and numerous cousins and other special family members. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
