Obituary of Quintin Arnold Walker

Qunitin Arnold Walker, 55, husband of Elaine Marie Walker, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on September 24, 1959, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late William B. Walker and the late Ethel Miller Walker. Mr. Walker was a member of Graves Southern Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Choppee High School and worked for Georgetown County School System for more than 15 years. Mr. Walker enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns, shooting his bow, working with wood and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two children, Jennifer W. Muncy (Scott) of Georgetown and Christopher Q. Walker of Norfolk, VA; two step daughters, Athyna Ciokan (Adam) of Socastee and Felicia Torres of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Damean Muncy and Ethan Muncy of Georgetown, Alexys Torres of Georgetown and Jordan Ciokan of Socastee; two sisters, Janet Morris (Barry) of Georgetown and Bonnie Gail Woodbury (David) of Andrews; three brothers, William T. “Buck” Walker (Wanda) of Georgetown, Dennis Glenn Walker (Cynthia) of Hemingway and twin brother, Quincy Ronald Walker (Lisa) of Loris; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Earl Walker; and a nephew, William T. Walker, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Graves Southern Baptist Church with Elder Mike Goude officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Graves Southern Baptist Church.
