Obituary of Norene Cribb Cox

Norene Cribb Cox, 85, widow of Richard L. “Dickie” Cox, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on April 9, 1931, in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Dave Cribb and the late Artie Baxley Cribb. Mrs. Cox was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Clara Gayle Mohatt (Gerald) of Evergreen, CO and Patricia Ann Cox of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Ashley Mohatt of Denver, CO, Tim Mohatt of Denver, CO and Ryan Mohatt (Megan) of Westminster, CO; five great grandchildren, Tyler Mohatt, Riley Mohatt, Jace Mohatt, Emily Mohatt and Aubrey Mohatt; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death five brothers, Guerney Cribb, Laverne Cribb, LA Cribb, Ernest Cribb and James Cribb. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chaplain Billy Miles officiating.
