I was so proud to have Aunt Ann a part of the Powers family. She always made us feel welcome in her home. The last time I was in Georgetown I spent the night with her and she treated me like a queen. That evening I enjoyed hearing her bantering back and forth with her children. I loved to hear her laugh and enjoyed hearing her talk about Uncle Jack who meant so much to us. She will be greatly missed, but she is enjoying Heaven with Uncle Jack and her Lord. Love you all and so sorry we could not make it down for the service. Joyce
TO THE FAMILY OF MRS ANN---I HEARD THE NEWS TODAY AND MY HEART IS COMPLETELY SHATTERED,I LOVED HER WITH ALL MY HEART!! WHAT FUN WE HAD WHEN SHE WOULD BRING HER CAR IN FOR SERVICE OR RUN INTO HER AT WALMART.HER JOYFUL LAUGH AND PERFECT SMILE EVERYTIME I SAW HER.

Words are hard to find to tell you how sorry we are for the Passing of your sweet Mother.
All of your family has enriched our lives through church and by being such great friends over the many years we have known each other. Like your Dad Jackie, Ann was a blessing to us, and all who knew her. We all hurt with you, and will keep you all in our Prayers. My favorite Hymn is "Sweet, Sweet Spirit", and no one had that sweet spirit more than your dear mother. God Bless and give you peace.

I am so sorry for your loss; my thoughts and prayers are with you. Ann was always a joy and this is a sad loss for many of us. I knew her from our pre-teen years when we attended Screven Baptist Church, in fact, she sang at my wedding at Screven in June,1958; Rev. Vassar was the pastor. Lovely lady and special memories!
My heart is so sad today but yet happy for Ann. I know that she and Jackie are having the time of their life. My prayers are with each one of you that are left behind, but just know that your Mom, your grandmother, your friend was loved by everyone. So very sorry for your loss.. I attended Winyah High with Ann and enjoyed her friendship. I have lived in Fl. for the last 22 yrs. but had the pleasure of dining with Ann and other classmates this past Jan.. It was very special to see her again.
Such a wonderful lady and friend to so many. It has been my privilege to know Ann for many years. My sympathy and love to all of the family, may the Lord give you the peace that only He can give.
