Obituary of Robert Gatlin Boatwright

Robert Gatlin Boatwright, 73, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 1, 1944, in Hemingway, he was a son of the late Robert W. Boatwright and the late Desdie Cuzack Boatwright. Mr. Boatwright worked at Georgetown Memorial Hospital for more than 40 years. He enjoyed working in the yard, decorating for Christmas and his dogs.

Survivors include three children, Pamela Sweet (Barry) of Greenville, Robert W. Boatwright (Christa...pher Hindman) of Myrtle Beach and Kenneth Boatwright (Janice) of Georgetown; a step son, Sean Ethridge of Clayton, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Toni Nichole Brew, Thomas Brew, Jonathan Corder and Brittany Boatwright; and one great grandchild, Isabella Erica Cring.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Lakewood Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Deeter officiating.

Burial will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
